Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg

The Artificial Intelligence Center Hamburg (ARIC) e.V. is institutionalized as a non-profit organization. ARIC is the interdisciplinary, application-oriented innovation center for artificial intelligence in the Hamburg metropolitan region and bundles cross-industry and cross-topic expertise in the field of AI. ARIC's members include the City of Hamburg, universities and colleges (public and private), research institutions as well as start-ups, SMEs and corporations. ARIC was founded at the interface of business and science and accordingly acts as a link between application-oriented research and practical application in forward-looking innovation projects.

Institute of Innovation Marketing, Hamburg University of Technology

The Institute for Innovation Marketing, located at the Hamburg University of Technology, is active in teaching and research at the interface of marketing, innovation management and entrepreneurship. The research portfolio includes international cooperation projects as well as application-oriented projects in collaboration with regional partners. The Institute's work, which has attracted worldwide attention, primarily focusses on the areas of open and user innovation, lead user integration and the market diffusion of innovations. The research work is complemented by user and acceptance research projects with practice partners. Several of these projects have received public funding. Another field of activity of the institute is the promotion of start-ups. The head of the institute is director of the TUHH incubator (Startup Dock) and was jointly responsible for the successful application for funding from the BMWi EXIST IV and EXIST V programs. In this field of activity, he has supported numerous start-up projects in the areas of design thinking and user-oriented, agile development.
